  • WHAT IS MICROBLADING?
This is the process of infusing pigment into the skin to simulate the appearance of natural hair. It is considered a tattoo/permanent makeup. It fades overtime. The high quality pigments I use will only fade to a lighter version of the color originally used and will never turn into funny blues, greys or reds. It is indended to fade and is not indended to last as long as a traditional tattoo. This is because I only implant into the top layer of the skin (Epidermis) while traditional tattoos are implated into a deeper layer of the skin (Dermis). Microblading is meant to be a subtle and natural enhancement to create fuller and more beautiful brows. This technique is best for clients who already have semi-full brow hair and want to perfect their shape for an everyday natural look. Microblading is best for young, healthy, and dry to normal skin. Not good for oily skin. If you have oily skin or large pores near your brows, please refer to powder brows or combination. If you are unsure which technique is best for your skin type, please email a well lit photo to browboulevard@gmail.com and ask which might be best for you! Annual touch ups are recommended. Annual touch ups are best to be done between 12-24 months from the last time your were in. Coming in too often for touch ups or too recent from the last time you were in is not good for the integrity of your skin.

Do not take any medications that thin your blood 48 hour prior to your appointment. This includes Aspirin, Ibuprofen, fish oil. Tylenol is okay to take at any point. Do not consume alcohol 48 hours before or after your appointment. Do not consume any caffeine/coffee the morning/day of your appointment (This will make you bleed and effect your healed results) If you typically fill your brows in, arrive to your appointment with your brows filled in as you would normally wear them. This helps me know what you are use to having your brows filled in like. Please come without face makeup on to your appointment. (I will be alcohol prepping your brows and forhead.) Feel free to wear eye makeup if you would like. If you tint your brows, you will want to do so 3 days before your appointment. If you get your brows waxed or regularly tweeze, please wait until after your permanent makeup appointment to schedule them to be waxed/tweezed. Please stop any Retin-A, Retinol or anti-aging products near your brows 1 week prior to your appointment. After having your brows done, always avoid these products on your pmu to prevent fading. No botox, fillers, or facial treatments AT LEAST 2 weeks before and after your brow appointment (This also includes chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and facials)
  • WHAT CAN I EXPECT IMMEDIATELY AFTER MY APPOINTMENT?
In the hours following your procedure, your brows will appear much darker and bolder than they will be when healed. This is due to oxidation in the surface layer of your skin. Your brows will appear much warmer in color. This could last up to 10 days as the pigment neautralizes. You may experience redness or swelling around the treated area. Around Day 3, you may notice some flaking or light scabbing. Do not pick it as that can result in loss of pigment. Brows will fade after 7 days and can start to appear patchy or uneven (This gets fixed at touch up). They could even disappear entirely after they have peeled due to the epidermis being thicker, causing muting, hiding or diffusing of pigment of the pigment underneath then they will peak back through after a couple days. The pigment will then appear more clearly after 4-6 weeks. Your brows will be assessed at touch up to see how the color is as will as shape. Going darker, thicker or longer is sometimes needed as they change during the first healing process.
  • WHAT WILL MY AFTER CARE BE?
(ALL AFTER CARE PRODUCTS WILL BE PROVIDED FOR YOU) For 10 Days: Wash your hands, then use foaming soap provided to gently cleanse your brows. Do not scrub. This cleans the lymph fluid off your brows to prevent them from scabbing. Then Rinse, Blot to Dry, and apply balm provided with you finger. Keep dry, other than morning and night cleansing until after 10 days. No Swimming, Saunas, Steam, or Sweaty Exersice for 10 days. Must be kept as dry as possible Limit showers to 5 minutes so you don't create too much steam. Tilt head back so you don't get your brows wet. No picking, itching, or touching your brows Avoid sleeping on your brows for 10 days. Use a clean pillowcase and using a pillow under your knees at night will prevent you from rolling over. No Botox or Facial for 2 weeks No Chemical Peels or Microdermabrasion (Skin Pen) for 4 Weeks
  • WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY FIRST TOUCH UP?
Scheduling your touch up between 6 and 12 weeks after your initial treatment will ensure lasting results for your beautiful new brows! They will become patchy and uneven after the initial treatment because new skin will heal over the layer of pigment, making the full results appear after the touch up. A $50 deposit is required to reserve your spot- this deposit is non refundable The schedule will only show the next 3 months. If your initial appointment is 2 months out, you will need to wait a couple weeks before visiting the website again to book your touch up. Booking your touch up in advance will ensure a date and time you are wanting in advance as they can get limitied

  • HOW LONG WILL MY SEMI-PERMANENT COSMETICS LAST?
Your brows will last 1-3 years. A touch up is needed when faded about 50% to keep them up. If no touch ups are done, they will fade away over time due to natural exfoliation over time. Cosmetic tattooing is designed to fade over time, making it Semi-Permanent. Factors such as skin type, age, lifestyle, metabolism, medications, and pigment color affect the longevity of the tattoo. Sun exposure and tanning beds can affect the rate at which these pigments are broken down. Wearing SPF designed for tattoos and permanent makeup and avoiding anti-aging skin products (Retinoids) will give you lasting results.d (SPF is available for purchase in my studio- $15) As touch ups are recommended overtime, I do not recommend touch ups before a year since your last treatment for the integrity of your skin. The longer you can wait before they are completly gone, the better. This is usualluy between 12-24 months. *PLEASE NOTE THAT FINAL RESULTS VARY AND CANNOT BE GUARANTEED DUE TO THE NATURE OF SKIN AS IT HEALS. AFTERCARE MUST BE FOLLOWED CORRECTLY. A FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENT IS INCLUDED AT 6-8 WEEKS WHERE I ASSESS YOUR PIGMENT RETENTION AND MAKE ANY CHANGES NECESSARY.*
  • IS IT PAINFUL AND DO YOU NUMB?
Pain tolerance varies with each person. To most people, it feels like a cat scratch or plucking. Numbing is applied after the first pass to lessen any discomort. The numbing works once skin is 'Broken'. Honestly- it's not bad!
  • HOW LONG DOES THE PROCEDURE TAKE?

  • DO I NEED A CONSULTATION BEFORE BOOKING MY APPOINTMENT?
